Regulatory sources
Regulatory sources annex
This site describes Turkish and Japanese regulatory frameworks as general context. Until now it asserted that those descriptions came from official sources without showing which. This annex is that list: the authority, the document, the access date, the statement it supports, and whether counsel has reviewed it yet.
This reference page is published in English, which is the governing version. It records corporate, evidentiary and regulatory statements whose precision matters more than their reach, so it is not machine-translated. Native Turkish and Japanese versions are in preparation with counsel; where a translation is later published, the English text prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Read this before relying on anything below
Every entry is published context. Each is primary-source issue-spotting assembled by UAX for a reader's orientation. None of it is legal advice, and each row is marked with its counsel-review status. Counsel review is not complete, and this page does not claim that counsel has been retained or instructed; while review remains incomplete, a reader should confirm any point that matters to a decision with their own qualified counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.
Each entry now gives the exact primary-source URL, accessed on the date shown. Government
URLs are reorganised from time to time, so the publishing authority and document title are
given alongside the link as a durable reference if a link later moves. These are outbound
navigation links only; the site loads no external resource, and its content-security policy
remains 'self' throughout (connect-src, script-src,
img-src and the rest). Links open with no-referrer and
noopener.

Corrections made in this revision
Assembling this annex forced four wording corrections, recorded here because a reader who saw the earlier text is entitled to know what changed:
- Japan's catch-all export controls are described as resting on FEFTA. The earlier text paired FEFTA with the Economic Security Promotion Act in that role; ESPA is a separate statute and has been removed from the catch-all wording.
- J-Bridge is described as a JETRO platform. The earlier text called it a METI platform and also described dual-use technology pathways as being monitored by ATLA — an arrangement for which no source exists. That description has been removed.
- Facility security certification is attributed to the Ministry of National Defence under Law No. 5202, and programme and procurement authority to the Presidency of Defence Industries. The earlier text blurred the two.
- No Japanese-side investment-review or clearance application is claimed. The earlier text described such applications as in progress; the Ministry of Finance regime cited concerns inward investment into Japan, and no such filing exists.
